Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all travel planning services, bookings, consultations, and experiences arranged through Curated Journeys DG.

Service Fees & Planning Fees

All Curated Journeys DG service fees, planning fees, consultation fees, and professional research fees are non-refundable. These fees cover the time, planning, communication, booking advisory, and arrangement services provided by Curated Journeys DG.

Refunds from Travel Suppliers

For travel packages, flights, hotels, villas, transportation, cruises, and excursions booked through third-party suppliers (including but not limited to Expedia TAAP, Archer Travel Group, tour operators, airlines, and hospitality partners):

  • Refunds are subject solely to that supplier’s policies.

  • Curated Journeys DG does not control or guarantee refunds from travel suppliers.

  • Any eligible refund will be issued per the terms of the supplier/provider.

Example:
If a villa offers a full refund up to 30 days before arrival, that policy applies—not ours.

Cancellations by the Client

If a traveler chooses to cancel a trip or booking:

  • Curated Journeys DG must be notified in writing via email at curatedjourneysdg@gmail.com

  • The cancellation date will be based on the time the written notice is received

  • The traveler will be responsible for any supplier cancellation fees, penalties, or non-refundable portions

Service and planning fees paid to Curated Journeys DG remain non-refundable regardless of supplier policies.

Changes to Bookings

Requested changes (dates, travelers, accommodations, itinerary adjustments, etc.) may result in supplier modification fees or price differences.

  • Clients are responsible for any additional costs incurred

  • Curated Journeys DG service fees for modifications may apply

Traveler Withdrawal from Group Trips

If a traveler withdraws from a group trip after the reservation is confirmed:

  • Refunds will be based on the refund policy of the supplier

  • If the accommodation or experience is booked as a whole rather than per person, the refund eligibility applies to the total booking, not per individual

  • Other travelers in the group will not be responsible for covering the withdrawing traveler’s portion

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Change of personal circumstances or financial ability

  • Failure to arrive for travel (no-show)

  • Missed flights or connections

  • Delayed or canceled air travel due to carrier policies

  • Illness or medical inability to travel (unless covered by purchased travel insurance)

  • Dissatisfaction with the weather or environmental conditions

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes, cancellations, or interruptions.

If a client chooses not to purchase travel insurance, they assume full financial responsibility for potential losses.
